Recent change in the UK rail industry has seen a transition from Franchise Agreements to Emergency Recovery Measures Agreements (introduced to support the UK’s recovery and fight against the COVID-19 pandemic) and their replacement with National Rail Contracts (NRCs), reflecting the UK government’s commitment to ensuring value for money and response to changing markets.

In partnership with Jacobs, Direx Solutions is providing subject matter experts to the Department for Transport (DfT) to undertake performance evaluations of UK Train Operating Companies (TOCs) across key business areas contained within the NOCs.
