School Transport Services LLC (STS) is the leading school transport provider across the United Arab Emirates (UAE), delivering ‘best in class’ services for over 76,000 students at 65 schools using 2,100+ buses.

Direx Solutions was appointed by STS to perform a strategic and operational review of the business and its operations following a change in the Management Board of the business. This required a full current state assessment of the business structure, fleet, maintenance practices, and service delivery, with a focus on safety as well as its approach to commercial planning for new services.

The project included a detailed analysis of STS’s processes across all business units, providing a roadmap to achieve business excellence and sustainability through adoption of best practices, systematically structured processes, and benchmarking against other world-class organisations.
